Alexander Zverev has had some physical problems recently. Swept aside 6-0, 6-1 in the final of the Rolex Paris Masters, the German made a good start to the ATP Finals with a victory against Ben Shelton.
In a press conference, the German gave an update on his health status: "I felt good today. For now, I can focus on one match at a time. I felt very good in Vienna.
I felt very good in Paris until I played that long match against Daniil, and then my ankle really swelled up. I couldn't really move properly anymore during the semi-final match.
