I have no regrets," says Bencic after her loss to Swiatek at Wimbledon

Belinda Bencic's journey came to an end this Thursday in the Wimbledon semifinals. Swept aside by Iga Swiatek 6-2, 6-0, the Swiss player remains proud of her performance and leaves London with her head held high.
In a press conference, she shared her mindset: "There are really so many positives to take from this tournament. I was in a great mental state.
I didn’t feel like I was playing brilliant tennis in all my matches, which gives me even more confidence than if I were in top form.
If I can finish matches without playing my best tennis, it gives me more confidence, and I definitely want to build on that.
I achieved my goal of returning to the top 20. I’m very motivated to keep climbing the rankings and to compete in my upcoming tournaments.
Today, Iga showed a different level. She played incredibly well and didn’t let me into the match for a single second. I gave it everything.
I’m very proud of my tournament, I have no regrets today. In the end, she was just too strong, and I was a step below.
