I think it's over": Caroline Wozniacki ready to say goodbye to tennis
Quiet since her last appearance at the US Open, the Danish champion spoke about her sporting future on the Nothing Major podcast. And her words leave little room for doubt: the end seems near for someone who has marked a generation of fans.
Caroline Wozniacki has not been seen in official competition since the 2024 US Open and a round of 16 exit. Since then, the former world No. 1 has given birth to her third child.
During an appearance on the Nothing Major podcast, the Dane, who won the 2018 Australian Open, admitted that her career seems to be behind her, although she has not yet officially retired:
"I think it's over. But I still have plenty of time to make a decision. If I feel like I can get back in shape, I'll never rule out that possibility. But with three young children, it's already a full-time job.
