I’d like to thank the stringer who called me Diablo instead of Diallo," Diallo’s humorous touch after his first career title in ’s-Hertogenbosch

Gabriel Diallo triumphed on the grass courts of ’s-Hertogenbosch on Sunday against Zizou Bergs, securing his very first ATP Tour title at the age of 23.
The Canadian, who has made a strong breakthrough this season, will enter the top 50 tomorrow, reaching a career-high world No. 44. During his post-final speech, he shared an amusing anecdote from the start of the tournament:
"I have no words. Winning an ATP title is something you dream about your whole life, ever since you’re a kid. I’m so happy to have done it, not just for myself, but also for my team.
I’d like to thank the stringer who misspelled my name by calling me Diablo instead of Diallo. A special shout-out to him. I don’t know if he’s here. But I told him that if I got the chance to speak at the mic by the end of the week, I’d say it without hesitation.
