"I'm going to be a volunteer," Sinner commits to the 2026 Olympics
Jannik Sinner isn't just a global tennis star. He's also a passionate ski enthusiast. With just months to go until the 2026 Winter Olympics, which will be held in his home country of Italy (Milan and Cortina d'Ampezzo), the champion revealed that he will participate as a volunteer.
"Yes, I'm going to be a volunteer, which I've already announced five times (laughs). I'd love to be there, of course. It's going to be a huge event, very big, and very important. People will also get to know another part of the world, which is made of natural mountains, snow..."
An important choice that will also be a nod to the young Jannik, the one who, before becoming a tennis star, participated in many competitions.
As a reminder, the San Candido native was Italian giant slalom champion in 2008 and also Italian vice-champion in 2012 (in the benjamins category). "I was better at skiing than tennis," he stated a few years ago.
