"I'm not sure I liked it," Murray reflects on his collaboration with Djokovic
In an interview shared by TNT Sports, Murray addressed several topics, including his brief coaching partnership with Djokovic. Just weeks after retiring, the Brit was approached to become one of the Serb's coaches.
"We spoke on the phone, and he asked if I’d consider coaching him, which I wasn’t expecting. I thought it was a very unique opportunity. I was really enjoying being at home, but I figured I’d give it a try and see if I’d like it. I’m not sure I did."
Indeed, after just six months, the two ended their collaboration by mutual agreement, each praising the other for their contributions.
