"I'm open to mentoring": Federer leaves doubt hanging over his future
In an interview with Tages-Anzeiger, Roger Federer revealed the behind-the-scenes of his daily life after retirement, a daily life he describes as "intense, but precious," focused almost exclusively on his four children.
"I focus on our children… It's an important period before they leave home."
No team to manage, no travel, no overwhelming schedule: Federer is finally enjoying an almost "normal" life, far from the pressure of the professional tour.

But when asked about a possible return to professional tennis as a coach, mentor, or commentator, the Swiss said this:
"If I'm asked now, I'll say no. I don't have the time. And I think everyone knows that, which is why no one asks (laughs). But never say never. Even Stefan Edberg didn't imagine spending two years on the tour with me.
So I'm open to mentoring. If someone has questions, I'm happy to give advice. And if I'm in Dubai at the end of the year, a player can come visit me."
