"I'm the perfect person to ask the question," McEnroe speaks out on video refereeing issues

Following Pavlyuchenkova and Raducanu, former American champion John McEnroe has now weighed in on video refereeing at Wimbledon. Interviewed by the BBC, the 66-year-old first emphasized the need to establish a mechanism for testing the technology before implementing it in major tournaments.
"I'm the perfect person to ask the question. My hair is pretty white at this stage, and there’s not much left of it. I might have a bit more if it weren’t for this whole system making mistakes.
The problem is that it has to be fair. I believe they said Hawk-Eye has a margin of plus or minus 3 mm, but is that accurate? Who conducted these tests? If it’s precise, of course I’m for it, but if not..."
For context, starting this year at Wimbledon, line judges have been replaced by an electronic review system. This change marks the end of 147 years of line judges.
