Trailing 1-6 in a tie-break that seemed lost, Pablo Carreño Busta staged a stunning comeback to give Spain a crucial point against Germany in the Davis Cup semifinals.

Spain is just one step away from the final. Pablo Carreño Busta's victory over Jan-Lennard Struff (6-4, 7-6(6)) in the opening match of the 2025 Davis Cup semifinals gave the Spaniards the advantage.

Facing Germany, Ferrer's team, missing their prodigy Carlos Alcaraz, did not seem favored on paper. Since then, they are on the verge of reaching another final in this competition.

In a few moments, the match turned surreal. Carreño Busta had taken the first set but found himself trailing 1-6 in the tie-break of the second set. What followed? Five set points saved to level and win the tie-break (8-6).

Now, Spain only needs one more victory to secure qualification. Perhaps Jaume Munar's win over Alexander Zverev would send Spain to their first Davis Cup final since 2019.

Hello I'm new

I am surprised about relatively low attendance at Roland Garros which was the most popular slam 20+ years ago. I myself love it as well as really loving aus and us opens. I don't care about Wimbledon, sometimes maybe I can watch women's tennis. I hate Wimbledon's white dress code, I feel like I am watching junior tennis...I watched very few matches like Graf davenport final in 1999 the last time.....
