Insolite - LMFAO's Redfoo to play Future main draw
Stefan Gordy, or Redfoo, lead singer of LMFAO, has always had a passion for tennis. It's not unusual to see him in the stands at the Miami tournament, for example.
He was also Victoria Azarenka's companion. Gordy had already played in future qualifying in 2016, losing 6-0, 7-5.
Almost ten years later, he tried his luck again last week, losing 6-0, 6-0, again in qualifying.
But this week, the Sharm El Sheik tournament decided to grant him a wild-card. He will face Leyton Rivera, a Norwegian player and lucky loser.
It remains to be seen how many games the 49-year-old singer/player will be able to win.
