Insolite - Nadal wins the title, but not at Roland-Garros!
A rare occurrence since 2005, Rafael Nadal is no longer in the running for the title at Roland Garros. Anything but varnished in the draw, the Majorcan didn't get the chance to step up his game, beaten by Zverev in the first round (6-3, 7-6, 6-3).
Nevertheless, the French Open legend went on to win a title, but in another sport. Nadal consoled himself by claiming the title at the Son Servera Golf Nations Cup in Mallorca. A meagre consolation, but "Rafa" will have to make do, at least this year.
