Is burn-out the new scourge of tennis?
The life of a professional tennis player, even one well established in the world's Top 100, is not as easy as you might think.
While Tsitsipas and Garcia have recently confessed to suffering from burn-out, and other players such as Dominic Thiem and Nick Kyrgios have confessed to this in the past, we have just learned this Wednesday that another player is suffering from a similar syndrome.
Emil Ruusuvuori, formerly 37th in the world and absent from the courts since Washington, announced that he would be taking a break from the ATP circuit, at least until the end of the year.
It's a bold decision that's not likely to go unnoticed!
