Isner discusses Alcaraz's chances at Indian Wells: "He is the big favorite"

Carlos Alcaraz will begin his campaign at Indian Wells this Saturday by facing Quentin Halys.
The Spaniard, a two-time defending champion in the California desert, is placed in the same section of the draw as Novak Djokovic, whom he could face as early as the quarterfinals.
Despite a somewhat tricky draw, the world No. 3 has, according to John Isner, a great chance of winning for the third year in a row:
"Alcaraz is the big favorite to win this event. He has won the tournament two years in a row, the surface favored him greatly. He was so dominant last year.
I heard there has been a change in surface this year. Maybe he is not as much of a favorite as he would have been with the old surface, but I think he is the guy to beat and he will win this tournament again. That's what I think."
