It's our honeymoon here in Shanghai": Auger-Aliassime between love and ambition at the end of the season

With both humor and clarity, Auger-Aliassime shares about his honeymoon in Shanghai before revealing his plan to finish the year strong and secure a place among the elite of men's tennis.
Freshly married, Félix Auger-Aliassime will return to competition on Saturday in Shanghai. He will face Alejandro Tabilo in his first match since his semifinal loss at the US Open against Jannik Sinner.
Speaking to the ATP website, the Canadian was first asked about the honeymoon the couple is currently enjoying in China, as he humorously explained:
"A honeymoon? It's our honeymoon here in Shanghai. We're here together and maybe there will be a honeymoon by the end of the year. But for now, I obviously have to get back to tournaments, get back to work... But we're still having a good time together."
Ranked 10th in the Race, he also discussed his goal for the end of the season, namely qualifying for the ATP Finals:
"I'm very motivated (to qualify). I started the year well, then had a few tough months but I had a great summer in the United States. There are always ups and downs, but it's been a positive year so far.
If I can make one last push to secure my spot in Turin, that would be amazing. But I'm not there yet, so I'll have to eliminate some players. I really need to play great tennis and win a lot of matches.
