It's the first time he's seen me play and I won the match," Djokovic reacts to Federer's presence at Wimbledon

Facing a very solid De Minaur, Djokovic advanced to the Wimbledon quarterfinals in four sets (6-1, 4-6, 4-6, 4-6). Speaking to the organizers after his victory, the Serb reflected on the challenging circumstances of his match:
"He broke me three times in the first set. In these windy conditions, he managed to handle it better than I did. I had to reset in the second set. He’s one of the fastest on tour, especially on grass. I’m happy I managed to stay solid in those decisive moments. I love winning in three sets (laughs), but the further you go in the tournament, the tougher the matches get."
The 38-year-old player also reacted to the presence of his former rival, Federer, in the stands of Centre Court:
"I’ve played serve-and-volley in front of that gentleman over there a few times. This is the first time he’s watched me and I won the match. I managed to break the curse (laughs)? It’s an honor to play in front of him, where he’s had so much success.
