"It’s the fruit of months of work," says Davidovich Fokina about his final in Washington
Alejandro Davidovich Fokina is having a great week in Washington, where he has qualified for the finals after eliminating Taylor Fritz and Ben Shelton, among others.
In a press conference, he explains his good form and his victory against Shelton: "There is no miracle recipe to recover from the match against Fritz. It’s the result of months of work with my team.
All the efforts we have made to reach another final this year are very valuable to us. Even though I went to bed at five in the morning yesterday, I knew I would be fresh today, and I noticed it as soon as I stepped onto the court."
Davidovich Fokina will face Alex de Minaur this Sunday for the title in Washington.
