Jabeur finally back on the winning track!
Ons Jabeur returned to winning ways with a victory over Ekaterina Alexandrova (2-6, 6-3, 7-6) in the 1st round of the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix Stuttgart on Wednesday. Prior to that, she hadn't won a match on the WTA Tour since February 7, and was on a 5-match losing streak. A huge relief, as evidenced by the Tunisian's long cry after winning the match.
Jabeur will have her work cut out in the second round, where she will meet Italy's Jasmine Paolini, ranked 14th in the world, who made short work of her compatriot and former French Open finalist (2012) Sara Errani (6-1, 6-0).
