Murray continues to influence tennis... even after retirement

More than a year after hanging up his rackets, Andy Murray remains a major source of inspiration.

His journey, marked by heroic resilience, three Grand Slam titles, two Olympic gold medals, and a reign at the top of world tennis, continues to radiate onto the new British generation.

And the proof of this influence has just been revealed by one of the United Kingdom's most promising talents: Jack Draper.

"Andy taught me the most important thing against left-handers"

Guest on the YouTube channel The Tennis Mentor, Draper unveiled a strategic tip passed directly from Murray:

"One important thing Andy Murray taught me regarding the difficulty of reacting against left-handers.

Indeed, if you are on the deuce side, position yourself a bit closer to the center line to close off their angle.

Psychologically, you think you're leaving the other side of the court open, but on the contrary, you force them to serve flat, which they hate."

Draper, still far from a return: frustration and caution

However, if the Briton is sharing this valuable advice today, it's unfortunately from the sidelines.

Injured in his left arm since the US Open, Draper hasn't played since and has just postponed his return once again.

He was supposed to participate in the UTS exhibition tournament in London but chose to withdraw because he didn't feel physically at his best yet.

Hello I'm new

I am surprised about relatively low attendance at Roland Garros which was the most popular slam 20+ years ago. I myself love it as well as really loving aus and us opens. I don't care about Wimbledon, sometimes maybe I can watch women's tennis. I hate Wimbledon's white dress code, I feel like I am watching junior tennis...I watched very few matches like Graf davenport final in 1999 the last time.....
