Jack Draper withdraws from UTS: "I am not yet ready," the Briton delays his big return
Absent from the courts since the US Open, Jack Draper had marked the UTS (Ultimate Tennis Showdown) final this weekend for his return to competition and to prepare for the 2026 season.
However, the Indian Wells winner will be missing from the exhibition founded by Patrick Mouratoglou.
"I am not yet ready"
It was on Instagram, in a story shared this Monday, that Draper announced his withdrawal from the UTS in London:
"I worked hard to be back for the UTS, but I am not yet fully ready. It's a difficult decision, because I just want to get back on the court and play. But I have been advised to wait a little longer. I am sorry to disappoint the fans and miss the event."
