Jessica Pegula won the seventh title of her career yesterday in Austin, after defeating her compatriot McCartney Kessler in the final.

But after the end of the tournament in both draws (singles and doubles), the world No. 4 decided to take a plane to Indian Wells with the other finalists.

Anna Blinkova and Yue Yuan, winners in the doubles draw, as well as Shuai Zhang and Kessler (already a finalist in singles), found themselves on the same private jet, thanks to a very kind proposal from Pegula.

It was Yuan who revealed the information on her social media: "All the players were invited on a private jet together. Thank you so much! Otherwise, it would have been a nine-hour drive tomorrow."

A deep dive into a talented generation defined by sky-high expectations and brutal competition.

Andy Murray chased Australian Open glory throughout his career alongside the Big 3. The former World No. 1 built an exceptional resume but never lifted the Melbourne trophy despite five final heartbreakers.

As much as I love watching Alcaraz at his best, I'd love to see Alex taking this, he's such a tryer, and getting married and his humour and humility...

Favoritism?

Last year: Sinner seed 1, the organizers schedule Alcaraz on day 1, Sinner on day 2.

This year: Alcaraz seed 1, the organizers schedule Alcaraz on day 1, Sinner on day 3.

That means: 7 matches in 15 days for Alcaraz, 7 in 13 days for Sinner; and no rest day for Sinner between quarter and semis, 1 full day rest for Alcaraz.

Also, on the first very hot day, the organizers schedule Sinner...
