Kouamé inherits Van de Zandschulp in the Madrid Masters 1000 qualifying rounds

Moïse Kouamé, invited by the organizers to compete in the Madrid Masters 1000 qualifiers, will face Botic Van de Zandschulp in the first round.

Ranked 969th in the world and accompanied by Gilles Simon in the Spanish capital, the young French player will be closely watched in his very first match in the ATP tournament qualifications.

Five other French players are also competing in these qualifications: Luca Van Assche will challenge the No. 1 seed Daniel Altmaier, Adrian Mannarino will meet Hugo Dellien, Hugo Gaston will face Yannick Hanfmann, Harold Mayot will play against Alexander Shevchenko, and Valentin Royer will start against Taro Daniel.
