Krejcikova is the new Queen of Wimbledon!

Barbara Krejcikova has just claimed the Wimbledon title by overcoming a determined Jasmine Paolini (6-2, 2-6, 6-4). After a duel lasting almost 2 hours, the current world number 32 finally had the last word and can now savour the moment.

At the age of 28, Krejcikova has now won her second Grand Slam title, after Roland Garros 2021. So sovereign at the start of the match, she held off Paolini's strong comeback to win.

Aggressive as ever, she completed a prodigious tournament. In fact, to claim her English crown, she had won against Collins, Ostapenko, Rybakina and Paolini.
