Kyrgios, De Minaur, Popyrin: 11 Australians Possible in the Miami Main Draw

Nine Australians are guaranteed direct entry into the Miami main draw. The ninth being the winner of the qualifying match between Adam Walton and Tristan Schoolkate.
Chris O’Connell and James Duckworth will attempt to win their final qualifying matches on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, to secure a spot in the main draw.
On the women's side, Australia's top-ranked player, Kimberly Birrell, has qualified for the main draw. Ajla Tomljanovic, a quarterfinalist in 2013, has received a wildcard.
Jordan Thompson, world No. 37, will face Marcos Giron, and Aleksandar Vukic will play against David Goffin in the first round. Rinky Hijikata and the star Nick Kyrgios are also present.
The Australian "showman" will take his chance just days after his withdrawal at Indian Wells.
Players De Minaur and Popyrin are also in Florida for the first round of the tournament.
