Kyrgios provokes ahead of his 'Battle of the Sexes' against Sabalenka: "She's not going to beat me"
Having been absent since March, Nick Kyrgios will make his grand return in an exhibition match in Dubai against Aryna Sabalenka. A "Battle of the Sexes" that is already heating up, where the Australian was quick to set the tone with a pointed declaration.
On the 28th of December, a new version of the "Battle of the Sexes" will take place, this time pitting Aryna Sabalenka, the women's world number one, against Nick Kyrgios, the 2022 Wimbledon finalist who has been absent from the courts since March.
An event that will take place in Dubai and is sure to attract attention just days before the start of the 2026 season. A few weeks ago, Kyrgios shared his feelings about this upcoming match:
"Do you really think I'm going to give 100%? Sabalenka is not going to beat me. But I will try, I will stay focused. I am representing the men's team. I'd say 6-2, maybe."
For her part, Sabalenka stated her "pride in representing women's tennis" in this unprecedented duel.
