Mannarino Falls to Michelsen in Houston Second Round
Adrian Mannarino's run in Houston comes to an end. The Frenchman, who was eliminated in qualifying, had been drawn as a lucky loser.
Despite winning the first set in a 7-0 tiebreak, he fell in the second round to Alex Michelsen with a score of 6-7, 6-4, 6-2.
Michelsen will face Frances Tiafoe in the quarterfinals, who defeated Adam Walton.
Meanwhile, Mannarino has decided to skip the European clay-court swing. He will instead play the following week at the Mexico City Challenger 125 on clay.
