Marc Lopez Becomes Paolini's Coach for the Clay Court Season

Nearly three weeks ago, Jasmine Paolini announced the end of her collaboration with Renzo Furlan, her coach of ten years.
For the upcoming clay court season, where she will defend the points from her Roland-Garros final last year, the world No. 6 has decided to hire Marc Lopez.
The news was revealed by journalist Sofya Tartakova on her X (formerly Twitter) account after a conversation with Dinara Safina:
"I spoke with Marc in Stuttgart. Their partnership is planned until the end of Roland-Garros," said the former world No. 1.
Lopez, a doubles specialist, won the ATP Finals in 2012 with Marcel Granollers, as well as Roland-Garros in 2016 with Feliciano Lopez and an Olympic gold medal at the Rio Games alongside Rafael Nadal in 2016. He also became one of the Mallorcan's coaches in 2021.
