Medvedev Continues Against Davidovich Fokina and Advances to the Quarterfinals in Beijing
After delivering a convincing performance in the first round in Beijing against Cameron Norrie, Daniil Medvedev confirmed his form against Alejandro Davidovich Fokina.
In the first set, the Russian managed to break his opponent right from the start. And, although he was broken back immediately, he managed to take his opponent's serve again. He won the first set 6-3.
The second set was very disjointed, marked by 6 breaks. But it was Medvedev who came out on top and won the match with a score of 6-3, 6-3.
He will face Alexander Zverev or Corentin Moutet in the quarterfinals.
