Morgado: "It's strange that WADA appealed against Sinner and is now changing the rule".
Portuguese journalist José Morgado has reacted to the decision by the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) to change its regulations, following in particular the doping cases of Jannik Sinner and Iga Swiatek.
On his X account, the journalist said, "Interesting rule change from WADA that will avoid situations like what happened with Sinner and Swiatek... It's strange that WADA appealed against Sinner and is now changing the rule."
WADA had lodged an appeal with the Court of Arbitration for Sport, challenging the International Tennis Integrity Agency's decision to acquit the Italian.
