Corentin Moutet's run in Cincinnati ended in the second round against Alex Michelsen.
Although he was scheduled to compete in the Winston Salem tournament the following week, the Frenchman decided to withdraw, likely to save himself for the US Open, which takes place the week after.
He will arrive in New York with a semifinal in Washington and two second-round appearances in Toronto and Cincinnati.
Learner Tien has also decided to withdraw from the tournament. Adam Walton and Raphaël Collignon will replace them.
