Munar-Ruud Match Postponed to Wednesday at Rome Tournament

This Tuesday, rain disrupted most of the schedule at the Rome tournament. After a three-hour interruption in the early afternoon, the final match of the day session on the center court, featuring Jannik Sinner against Francisco Cerundolo, finally started around 7 p.m.
As a result, the start of the two evening matches—between Elina Svitolina and Peyton Stearns, followed by Jaume Munar and Casper Ruud—was delayed by several hours.
The Ukrainian and the American began their match around 10 p.m., forcing organizers to make a late-night decision regarding the last match of the day.
Seeing that the women's match would go to three sets, the clash between the Spaniard and the Norwegian was postponed to Wednesday. The match will now take place at 2 p.m. on the Grand Stand Arena, with the winner facing Jannik Sinner, who advanced the previous day in straight sets (7-6, 6-3).
