"My confidence level has been rising since Miami," says Raducanu, advancing to the semifinals in Washington

Emma Raducanu's impressive run in Washington continues. After her victories against Marta Kostyuk and Naomi Osaka, the British player secured her third consecutive straight-set win, this time against Maria Sakkari, whom she has now defeated for the fourth time in as many meetings (6-4, 7-5).
Following her success, the world No. 46, who will face Anna Kalinskaya for a spot in the final, spoke about her strong form and admitted feeling more confident than at the start of the season.
"I think my confidence level has been increasing since the Miami tournament. In a way, the amount of work I’ve been putting in behind the scenes takes some of the pressure off regarding the results I achieve.
I’m focusing as much as possible on training and gym work. It’s intense but necessary to get wins like this one. I’m really pleased to have pulled through today because Maria (Sakkari) played a very good match.
Today’s playing conditions favored her, given how dynamic her game is," Raducanu told Punto De Break in recent hours.
