"My Wife Wants Me to Stay," Monfils on Possible Trip to Munich for Champions League Final
After delivering another spectacular performance against Draper during Thursday night's session, Monfils exited in style. During the post-match press conference, the 38-year-old player discussed his weekend plans. The Frenchman had initially intended to travel to Munich to support PSG in the Champions League final:
"My wife wants me to stay. At first, I knew where I’d be on Saturday, but now, there are several possible places. If my wife wins, I think I know where I’ll be too (laughs)."
Indeed, Svitolina is still in contention in the women's draw and will face American Pera this Friday in the third round at Roland Garros.
