Rafael Nadal didn't disappoint on Thursday, but he did lose to an excellent Carlos Alcaraz in the semi-finals of the Six Kings Slams (6-3, 6-3).
When asked about the man who had beaten him after the match, the Majorcan was in a class of his own.
While complimenting his young compatriot, he pledged to be there if needed: "The advice I'd give Carlos? I don't think he needs much advice.
He's got a great team, a great family. He's going to do very well. He's learning all the time. We can see that he's evolving in all areas.
But of course, I'll be there whenever he wants to call me."
