Despite qualifying directly for the semi-finals of the Saudi exhibition, Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal both lost.

Defeated respectively by Jannik Sinner (6-2, 6-7, 6-4) and Carlos Alcaraz (6-3, 6-3), the two legendary rivals will face off this Saturday for 3rd place.

It's sure to be an emotional and symbolic moment, as Rafael Nadal retires at the end of the Davis Cup finals (November 19-24).
