The final of the WTA 500 tournament in Merida pitted Emma Navarro against Emiliana Arango.
The American delivered a flawless performance, winning 6-0, 6-0 in just 55 minutes of play.
She did not lose a single set throughout the week. This victory allows her to gain two places in the WTA rankings, placing her 8th, her highest ranking to date.
This is the second WTA tournament she has won, following her victory in Hobart in January 2024. A great way to head into Indian Wells with confidence.
