"No One Likes You," Medjedovic Taunts Rune Mid-Match in Tokyo

Third seed Holger Rune once again made headlines during his opening match against Hamad Medjedovic in Tokyo.
Known for his occasionally childish behavior on the court, Rune has previously had altercations with the umpire and displayed conduct that some might consider unsportsmanlike. And according to his opponent of the day, this was once again the case.
Unhappy with the Dane's behavior during the first set, Medjedovic lashed out at him:
"No one likes you, and here's the proof. You won't even apologize. Any normal human being would at least know how to say sorry. No one likes you. Everyone has told me so. And I don't care what you have to say back."
Although the match resumed afterward, Medjedovic seemed unable to recover from the conceded tie-break and lost 7-6, 6-1. It is worth noting that after the match, the two players still shook hands.
