Novak Djokovic will participate in the Athens tournament
A final challenge before Turin? Novak Djokovic has confirmed his participation in the ATP 250 in Athens (from November 2 to 8), a strategic choice but above all a family one.
It is now official: Novak Djokovic is registered for the ATP 250 in Athens, the week before the ATP Finals in Turin (from November 10 to 17). A decision that raises questions, as the world No. 1 rarely enters a "small tournament" at such a strategic point in the season.
At 38 years old, when every tournament is a matter of recovery and meticulous preparation, Djokovic is thus combining the sporting and family aspects: his family having settled in the Greek capital several weeks ago.
For the record, the ATP tournament in Belgrade was canceled and replaced by the one in Athens in November.
