Official: Ugo Humbert withdraws from the Rolex Paris Masters!

The 2024 finalist, Ugo Humbert, has announced his withdrawal from the 2025 Rolex Paris Masters. A decision with heavy consequences as he will drop out of the world's Top 30.

The Parisian crowd was hoping to see him shine again. But fate decided otherwise. This Monday morning, Ugo Humbert officially confirmed his withdrawal from the 2025 Rolex Paris Masters. Struggling with a back injury for several weeks, the player from Metz was unable to recover in time.

This injury not only forces him to forgo a home tournament but also to lose precious ATP points: he will leave the world's Top 30 at the end of the week.

Nevertheless, one man's misfortune is sometimes another man's fortune, as, thanks to Humbert's withdrawal, 24-year-old Valentin Royer has been given a spot in the main draw. The young Frenchman will therefore face Alejandro Davidovich Fokina in the first round.
