By defeating Jasmine Paolini at the WTA Finals, Aryna Sabalenka recorded her 60th win of the year, a feat she has achieved for the first time in her career.
But the world number one is not the only one with so many wins, as her great rival Iga Swiatek has 62. As revealed by Opta Ace, Swiatek and Sabalenka are the first duo since 2013 with Agnieszka Radwanska and Serena Williams to surpass 60 wins in a single season.
Although the Polish player currently has more wins than the Belarusian, it will unfortunately be impossible for her to hope to overtake her rival in the WTA rankings at the end of this 2025 season.
