Paul McNamee picks his favorite for the French Open: "He's by far the best player on clay right now."

Australian doubles legend Paul McNamee (5 Grand Slam titles, including two Australian Opens) spoke to Tennis 365. With the French Open fast approaching, the former world No. 1 doubles player believes there is little debate as to who will win the title.
For the Australian, one player stands head and shoulders above the rest on clay, and that player is Carlos Alcaraz: "The great masters of clay are Rafael Nadal and Bjorn Borg, and the next one will be Carlos Alcaraz. It's almost a miracle he didn't win the French Open last year, and he'll win it this year, unless something extraordinary happens. This guy is really good. He's got what it takes. He could win 10 Roland Garros. Let's not say 14 like Rafa, but for me, he's by far the best player on clay right now."
