The participants for the 2025 Laver Cup are being revealed one by one. From September 19 to 21, San Francisco will host Team Europe and Team World, with the latter aiming to reclaim the title after Team Europe won the previous edition in Berlin—following Team World's back-to-back victories in 2022 and 2023.

Team World, now captained by none other than André Agassi, has announced the identity of its third player for this year's competition. After Taylor Fritz and Ben Shelton, a third American will join the lineup in California this fall: Tommy Paul.

Having been part of Team World's winning campaign in 2023, Paul will compete in his second Laver Cup. On the event's official website, the world No. 13 expressed his excitement about representing his team once again.

"It’s a real honor to be back with Team World. Being part of the Laver Cup is an incredible experience. Playing in that atmosphere, alongside guys who are also your best friends, makes you want to perform—not just for yourself, but for them too.

You want to win more than ever, and that brings out so much energy. I can’t wait to play in San Francisco and compete on home soil. With Agassi, a legend of the sport, as our new captain, it’s going to be amazing.

I’ve never been on a losing Laver Cup team, so I hope I can help keep that streak going," the 27-year-old player said recently.

A tennis player's income depends solely on his sporting results. In the event of injury, the daily life of those far from the Top 100 can become extremely complicated.

Born almost by accident in an Acapulco garden, padel has in fifty years become a global phenomenon that both fascinates and worries tennis. Its meteoric rise is already reshaping the landscape of racket sports.

Since February 2022 and the invasion of Ukraine by Russia, Ukrainian sport has been heavily affected by human, structural and economic losses. Tennis has, of course, not been spared. While Ukrainian athletes have had to rethink their entire organization, an entire country, behind the scenes, has had to adapt and change its training conditions. This extends all the way to the highest level, where professional players have spoken out, trying as best they can to help their nation.

As we move to the end of this month and also closing out the year I am wishing all of those following me a Merry Christmas and a Happy/Healthy New Year.

Let's make that wish for all 2000 plus players hoping for 5 wins each day. Hoping ŵhen we open the results page to see all green, and no red. And especially NO CANCELED matches.

From me and my rotti JAZ, I bid you all good night, and see you in...

why did tennis tonic void predictions on the match between Chwalinska and Huergo at the Quito tournament? The match was played to completion and on time. If TT feels the match is one sided, and of course it was, then don't put it up for prediction. This is getting irritating.

The finals are here, and we scramble for the best finish. I've been chasing "King" all year and I was able to shrink the spread a little. Skelp is also closing the gap.

Seasons best to all the regulars in our league.

Will you all be back in the new year.?

Steffi Graf completed a Golden Slam (not just a career Grand Slam) when she was 19. She is the only person to accomplish that, winning the four majors plus Olympic gold the same calendar year.
