Former world No. 9 Andrea Petkovic had this to say about Rafael Nadal: "Boris Becker told me that playing tennis, winning titles and playing on the big courts was a drug.
I think with Rafa, you realize when it becomes an addiction and when it becomes detrimental to your life.

You could see he was starting to neglect himself. It was like it was unhealthy, he was hurt all the time, you could see it on his face.
Rafa isn't the most relaxed person. I think he could be much better if he was less afraid.
Have you ever seen him train? He played ten times faster in training than in matches. Sometimes you get the impression that Rafa could have played even better, which is just crazy."
