Pietrangeli on Sinner's current level: "He can only lose a match if he hasn't slept well or isn't feeling well".

Pietrangeli on Sinner's current level: He can only lose a match if he hasn't slept well or isn't feeling well.

Italian tennis legend Nicola Pietrangeli, 91, regularly speaks out in the media about Jannik Sinner and his recent successes.

After the Australian Open final won by the world No.1, Pietrangeli, interviewed by the Adnkronos media, spoke of Sinner's current dominance over the rest of the tour:

"The final was a walk in the park for him. He's walking around the court. I said last year that Sinner should give his opponents an advantage this season.

Nobody is at his level and it's not their fault. He's just too strong. I had written that this final would end in three sets, and it did. I predicted the result and I expected it, because he's too strong.

I think he can only lose a match if he hasn't slept well or isn't feeling well. I don't know what he can improve on, he's already world n°1. We can see that he's enjoying himself on the court and that's important."
