Playing on hard court is just a matter of time, I have no doubt," states Boisson
Loïs Boisson unfortunately had to retire this Monday against Emma Navarro. Affected by a left thigh injury, the French player could not continue after conceding the break in the second set.
In an interview given to L'Équipe before the match, Boisson discussed her game on hard courts and her progress on this surface, as she has so far proven herself mainly on clay.
She states: "Playing on hard court requires being closer to the baseline, taking a bit more initiative. These are developments in my game that I'm working on right now.
I've already seen that I have the level in these situations. However, in matches, I had never played on outdoor hard courts before. It's just a matter of time, of gaining experience. I have no doubts about the surface.
