Injured in the thigh, Boisson retires against Navarro in Beijing

Loïs Boisson was unable to compete against Emma Navarro. The French player took to the court with a bandage on her left thigh.

During the first set, which she lost 6-2, she also had to take a medical timeout during which she burst into tears.

After being broken at the start of the second set, Boisson decided to retire. Navarro will face either Iga Swiatek or Camila Osorio in the next round.
