Positive results for French players in the second qualifying round of the Australian Open

While Monday was a negative day for French women's tennis at the Australian Open (two matches, two defeats), Tuesday was much more positive.
Six Frenchwomen were involved on Tuesday, with a positive result: four wins and two defeats.
Elsa Jacquemot lost to Maddison Inglis 6-3, 6-2. Marion Léonard lost to wild card Renata Jamrichova 6-3, 7-6.
Léolia Jeanjean won 1-6, 6-2, 6-1 against Lina Glushko. Carole Monnet beat Darja Semenistaja 6-4, 3-6, 6-2.
Séléna Janicijevic made a big impact by beating #14 seed Zhu Lin 6-3, 1-6, 6-2.
Finally, Kristina Mladenovic beat Louisa Chirico 6-2, 6-4.
