Pushed by Korda, Fritz Pulls Through in Tokyo

Taylor Fritz faced his compatriot Sebastian Korda in the quarterfinals of the ATP 500 in Tokyo.
The match started poorly for the world number 5, who lost his opening service game. However, he managed to break back in the fourth game.
He then took the lead by breaking his opponent in the eighth game before winning the first set 6-3 by holding his serve.
But Korda did not give up and earned an early break point, which he failed to convert. Both players had relatively comfortable service games, which naturally led them to a tie-break.
It was Korda who gained the upper hand and won the tie-break 7-5.
Following his tie-break momentum, he earned three break points in the third game but was unable to convert them. Ultimately, it was Fritz who secured the break in the sixth game, converting his only break point of the set.
The American eventually won 6-3, 6-7, 6-3 and will face Holger Rune or Jenson Brooksby in the semifinals.
Ever since that final against Novak when Seb held match points and then lost, he had no results.
But that's what Novak does to you. Happened to alcazar also after the Olympics final.
