Querrey frank about the Australian Open: "The men's tournament as a whole has been a bit rubbish this year".
On the latest Nothing Major podcast, former Wimbledon semi-finalist Sam Querrey gave his assessment of the 2025 Australian Open in the men's draw.
According to him, this first Grand Slam was not the most exciting for tennis fans: "The whole men's tournament was a bit rubbish this year. I don't think there were any great matches!
Djokovic-Alcaraz was nice, but I feel there wasn't that great match.
When we talk about this tournament in six months' time and ask which match we remember, we won't remember any.
Sinner stood out from the rest of the players on hard court, which is almost a shame from a fan's point of view. Some sets were close, but there was a dominance on his part throughout the tournament."
