Raducanu: "If you don't win another Grand Slam soon, you become frustrated"
Emma Raducanu spoke to the British newspaper PA about the upcoming season. She also talks about her state of fitness.
She says: "I'm in a good place tennis-wise at the moment.
I want to see how far I can go and exploit my potential. I really want to play more. I think a big part of that is staying healthy.
In the beginning, when I started my career, my main goal was to win a Grand Slam. It happened when I was very young and I'm grateful for that.
But then I thought, "Okay, now what? It's not tenable. If you don't win another Grand Slam soon, you get frustrated.
Now, the reason I play is more sincere. I really love what I do, how I work, and the people I work with."
