Ramos-Vinolas to Retire at the End of the Season
At 37 years old, Albert Ramos-Vinolas announced this Sunday that the 2025 season will be his last as a professional, explaining that his body can no longer keep up with the pace.
After eighteen years on the tour and a career-high ranking of No. 17 in 2017, the Spanish left-hander has won four ATP titles, all on clay—in Bastad (2016), Gstaad (2019), Estoril (2021), and Cordoba (2022).
Among his other career highlights, Ramos-Vinolas reached the quarterfinals at Roland-Garros in 2016 and the final of the Monte-Carlo Masters 1000 the following year, defeating Cilic, Murray, and Pouille along the way.
